HONY®PP material (chemical name Polypropylene) is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic made by the catalytic polymerization of propylene. Polypropylene belongs to the category of polyolefins. Polypropylene (PP) is a general-purpose plastic with a good balance of properties, and it has excellent chemical resistance, high purity, low water absorption and good electrical insulation properties. In addition, PP material is lightweight and weldable.

Polypropylene Sheet has high mechanical strength and tensile strength, but has low notched impact strength, can resist stress cracking, is easy to weld, and becomes brittle at sub-zero temperatures. The chemical and electrical properties are very good, and the continuous working temperature is between +5°C and +100°C

What is General Plastics

WHAT ARE THEY?

Polyethylene PE is a kind of general-purpose plastics with the highest production, it is a kind of crystalline plastic, presenting all opaque or semi-transparent state, with very good low-temperature resistance, and it can be used at the lowest temperature from -70℃ to -100℃, but its heat-resistant property is very poor.
In addition, PE electrical insulation properties are also very good, chemical properties are stable, can withstand most of the corrosion of acids and alkalis, according to the different densities can be divided into low-density polyethylene, high-density polyethylene and linear low-density polyethylene.

WHAT ARE THEY?
