Know Everything About Bakelite

Introduction of bakelite Board: It is also known as glued wood board and phenolic laminated paperboard. Bakelite boards are made by using high quality bleached wood and absorbent cotton paper as reinforcement and high purity, fully synthesized petrochemical raw materials to react with phenolic resin as resin binder.

Bakelite Board: Bakelite boards are insulating, non-static, wear-resistant and high-temperature-resistant, etc. They are used as insulating switches and variable resistors for electronic products, molds and production line fixtures for machinery, and can be used in transformer oil.

Bakelite is a man-made synthetic chemical substance, once heated and molded, it will solidify and can no longer be molded into something else, because it has the characteristics of non-absorbent, non-conductive, high temperature resistance, high strength, and widely used in electrical products, hence the name.

Color: orange red, black

Size: 3-100X1000mm or 3-1220/2200mm

Characteristics:

Good electrical properties at room temperature, good mechanical properties, specific gravity 1.45, warpage ≤ 3 ‰, with excellent electrical, mechanical and processing properties. Paper Bakelite is the most common laminate, and is the most widely used and used industrial laminate in the world.

Applications:

It is suitable for parts that are insulated in motors and electrical equipment with high mechanical property requirements. Good mechanical strength, mainly used in ICT, ITE jigs in the processing of insulating parts, test jigs, molds, jig boards, mold cleats, countertop grinding pads, packaging machines, combs and so on.
