MC - AST • Antistatic Nylon

Using nylon (Nylon) as raw material and adding carbon-based filler materials, it shows high performance in the field of antistatic materials. Polypenco MC501CD is the most typical representative of anti-static nylon plastic series. The excellent characteristics of MC501CD nylon: high mechanical strength, excellent wear resistance and chemical resistance.
Resistivity:
MC501CD R2 (Black): 102 - 104 Ωcm
MC501CD R6 (Black): 106 - 108 Ωcm
MC501CD R9 (Black): 108 - 1010 Ωcm
MC500AS R11(white): 1010 - 1012 Ωcm
Balanced resistivity: Due to the uniform distribution of fillers, the electrical conductivity is evenly distributed in all parts of the MC501 CD nylon. Therefore, after machining, there is no change in its conductivity, even if the surface is worn, the resistivity is not affected.
Constant resistivity: MC501 CD nylon is rich in conductive fillers, such as carbon powder, and its resistivity never changes, while nylon coated with conductive materials does not have this property. The conductivity of MC501 CD does not depend on temperature.
MC500AS does not add fillers and will not peel off (such as carbon powder, etc.).
Applications:
Widely used in semiconductor, LCD, electronic components and other fields.
-Prevent electrostatic damage to electronic parts: for IC parts transfer/storage, cassettes, pallets, containers, guide rails;
-Prevent electrostatic adsorption of dust: wheels, rollers, guide rails;
- Prevention of electrostatic sparks: parts and equipment for handling flux;
-Prevent abnormal operation of electronic parts: parts of precision measuring devices, shielding boards for low-frequency electromagnetic waves.
