SEMITRON ESd series products - electrostatic discharge products are designed by QUADRANT to solve the discharge problem generated during equipment operation. This series of products are mostly used on some sensitive electronic components, including integrated circuits, hard drives and circuit boards. The SEMITRON family of products is also an excellent choice in material handling equipment, high speed electronic printing and playback equipment.

The antistatic SEMITRON ESd can be used in areas where there are discharge problems during operation. It has controlled electrostatic discharge properties.

The electrical emission performance and electrical stability of SEMITRON ESd series products are inherent, unlike many so-called "emission" plastic profiles, they neither rely on the atmospheric environment nor surface treatment to obtain emission capabilities, and the generated static electricity can be easily dissipated discharge along the surface of the component. All products in this series have a 5kV voltage decay time of less than 2 seconds (based on the Mil-B-81705C standard).

A total of eight levels of SEMITRON ESd are suitable for static discharge in a wide temperature range and mechanical load conditions or in areas where discharge problems occur during operation, with controllable static discharge performance

Field of application

Inserts - Static-dissipating inserts made of SEMITRON ESd 500HR PTFE reduce damage to sensitive devices from electrostatic discharge.

SEMITRON ESd 225 POMC is a polyoxymethylene-based Antistatic Material, which is suitable as a handle material to prevent the discharge of parts in contact with people. It is also ideal for fixtures during silicon wafer processing or in the manufacture of sensitive electronic components, including hard drives and printed circuit boards.

SEMITRON ESd 410C PEI Black

SEMITRON ESd 410C PEI has excellent mechanical properties, and its maximum service temperature can reach 200°C, providing a solution for electrostatic discharge in high temperature fields. In addition, SEMITRON ESd 410C PEI has good dimensional stability (low coefficient of linear thermal expansion and low water absorption), making it an ideal material for conveying equipment in the electrical/electronic or semiconductor industries.

SEMITRON ESd 420 PEI is the only electrostatic discharge plastic product that is really used in high temperature areas. It has a low surface resistivity and excellent thermal properties.

SEMITRON ESd 500HR PTFE White

Reinforced with synthetic mica, SEMITRON ESd 500HR PTFE has excellent comprehensive performance, low friction, good dimensional stability, and good static discharge performance. SEMITRON ESd 500HR PTFE solves the discharge problem of pure PTFE and also retains the typical properties of PTFE - such as broad chemical resistance and low coefficient of friction.

SEMITRON ESd 520HR PAI Tan Gray

SEMITRON ESd 520HR PAI has the best combination of properties in its class - electrostatic discharge, high strength and high temperature resistance. This new static-dissipative material is ideal for slots, sockets and connectors on test equipment and other conveying equipment in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. A key feature of SEMITRON ESd 520HR PAI is its unique ability to withstand dielectric breakdown at high voltages (>100V). Common carbon fiber reinforced materials already have irrecoverable conductivity at moderate voltages, while SEMITRON ESd 520HR PAI maintains its electrical properties even in the high voltage range of 100-1000V, while providing excellent mechanical properties for required applications performance.

SEMITRON ESd 420V PEI has excellent electrical properties and mechanical strength, which is superior to ESd 420 in pressure-bearing application environments, and can also process smoother inner holes.

MC antistatic nylon series

MC501CD and MC500AS R11 are filled compounds based on nylon, which exhibit high performance in the field of antistatic materials. The inherent characteristics of MC501CD and MC500AS R11 nylon are high mechanical strength, excellent wear resistance and chemical resistance.

Resistivity balance

Due to the uniform distribution of fillers, the conductivity of all parts of MC501CD nylon is constant. Therefore, after machining, there is no change in its conductivity, even if the surface is worn, the resistivity is not affected.

Resistivity unchanged

MC501CD nylon is rich in conductive fillers, such as carbon powder, and its resistivity never changes, while the surface of nylon sprayed with conductive materials does not have this property. MC501CD nylon is different from plastics with surfactants, its electrical conductivity does not depend on temperature.
