What is Nylatron® MC901 HS Pa6 ?


Nylatron® MC901 HS PA6 is a heat stabilized nylon offering long-term thermal stability to 260°F. It is blue in color and used in a variety of bearing and structural applications such as wheels, gears, and custom parts.


MC901 Blue Nylon Sheet: This modified nylon 6 has a striking orchid color, higher toughness than ordinary cast nylon, good flexibility and fatigue resistance, proving to be an ideal material for gears, racks and transmission gears.


Main characteristics: high mechanical strength, stiffness, hardness and toughness. Good aging resistance, good mechanical damping capacity, good sliding, wear resistance, good machinability, high chemical stability, resistance to organic solvents and fuels, harmless. As well as high heat resistance and non-deformability (applicable temperature range -40 degrees - 120 degrees). Nylon is one of the five engineering plastics widely used varieties.


Application: Widely used in chemical machinery, anticorrosive equipment, gear and parts blanks. Wear-resistant parts, transmission structure parts, household appliances parts, automobile parts, screw to prevent mechanical parts, chemical machinery parts, chemical equipment. Such as turbines, gears, bearings, impellers, cranks, instrument panels, drive shafts, valves, blades, silk rods, high-pressure washers, screws, nuts, seals, bobbins, sets of simple, bushing connectors, etc..

Nylatron® MC 901 PA6 shapes are ideal for a variety of bearing and structural applications. Distinguishable by its blue color, this grade is characterized by outstanding mechanical strength, rigidity, hardness, and toughness. The material also exhibits great sliding properties, excellent electrical insulation properties, and outstanding wear resistance. Due to these characteristics and properties, Nylatron® MC 901 PA6 is often favored as a solution for gear wheels, racks, pinions and custom parts.
