Cast Nylon 6 Oil-Filled offers self-lubricating properties for higher loads and slow moving parts. This grade also offers a lower coefficient of friction compared to all other Nylon 6 grades available.Oilon was first introduced into the market back in 1974. It was the very first authentic lubricated nylon having a blended liquid lubricant system built in during the process stages. This resulted in a substantial increase in bearing life more than 5 times that of natural cast nylon and more than 25 times that of phosphor bronze.
MC oil-impregnated and wear-resistant nylon is modified on the basis of MC nylon. It also has high crystallinity, molecular weight up to 100,000, 3-5 times higher than ordinary nylon 6, three times higher mechanical properties than ordinary nylon, good dimensional stability, low water absorption, high mechanical strength and hardness, and good heat resistance. 4. MC oil-containing nylon products with good resilience can prevent long-term deformation of the curved surface, keep it tough, and resist fracture caused by repeated impact loads. It is very necessary for products that withstand high impact loads.
5. MC oil-containing wear-resistant nylon has excellent wear resistance and self-lubricating properties, and can be used under general conditions of light load and low speed without adding lubricant. The characteristic of nylon is that after a certain period of use, the wear is reduced, and there is little wear and tear in the later period. In addition, the friction coefficient of MC oily and wear-resistant nylon is 0.3-0.4. In addition, due to the low self-lubrication and water absorption of MC oily nylon, it has self-cleaning properties that are difficult to combine with other materials.
