1. The rheological properties of nylon

Most of nylon is crystalline resin, when the temperature exceeds its melting point, its melt viscosity is small, the melt fluidity is very good, should prevent the occurrence of overflow edge. At the same time, due to the fast condensation speed of melt, it should prevent the material from blocking the nozzle, runner, gate and other products caused by insufficient phenomenon. Mold overflow value 0.03, and melt viscosity is more sensitive to temperature and shear changes, but more sensitive to temperature, reduce melt viscosity from the barrel temperature first.

2. Nylon water absorption and drying

The water absorption of nylon is large, wet nylon in the molding process, the viscosity drops sharply and mixed with air bubbles on the surface of the products appear silver, the mechanical strength of the resulting products decreased, so the material must be dry before processing.

3. Crystallinity

In addition to transparent nylon, nylon is mostly crystalline polymers, high crystallinity, the product tensile strength, abrasion resistance, hardness, lubricity and other properties have improved, the coefficient of thermal expansion and water absorption tends to decline, but the transparency and impact resistance is unfavorable.

4. Shrinkage rate

Similar to other crystalline plastics, nylon resin has the problem of large shrinkage, generally the shrinkage of nylon has the greatest relationship with crystallization, when the product crystallization is large, the product shrinkage will also increase, in the molding process to reduce the mold temperature and increase the injection pressure and reduce the material temperature will reduce shrinkage, but the product internal stress increases easily deformation. For example, the shrinkage rate of non-glass fiber reinforced Pa6 and Pa66 is 1.5-2%, and the shrinkage rate can be reduced to 0.3%~0.8% after adding glass fiber.

5. Molding equipment
