The low thermal conductivity of durostone prevents heat-shrinkage of bas board, to ensure the quality of reflow process. It is designed and typically recommended for use in manufacturing solder pallets for wave-solder applications of printed circuit boards.

The fixtures made from solder pallet has the following functions, it can improve the efficiency of the peak soldering process:

Wave soldering fixtures can be categorized into three main types according to their purpose

The first category is anti-soldering tray to enhance the quality of the process for the purpose. It is used for wave soldering surface using solder paste reflow process, over the wave soldering to protect the patch components, to avoid the second melting of the solder joints; the second category is the patchwork tray to improve production efficiency for the purpose. It is used for the same kind of board or different PCB at the same time over the wave soldering. The third category is an auxiliary tray to other assembly process needs for the purpose. It is used for auxiliary positioning of components on the board and irregular PCB over the board welding.
