ULTEM offers custom colors for transparent and opaque, as well as glass fill grades. In addition, ULTEM copolymers can meet higher thermal, chemical and elastic requirements. Pei Ultem Sheet Rod Main features
Long-term heat resistance->>Due to the high glass transition temperature of 217°C, it has excellent physical and mechanical stability at high temperatures. Provide relative thermal index (RTI) up to 180°C
Strength and stiffness->> has predictable stiffness and strength up to 200°C. The unfilled transparent grades have the same strength as other thermoplastics with opaque fillers.
Dimensional stability ->> can provide predictability in a wide temperature range, and the filling level provides extremely high tolerance dimensional capabilities.
Environmental stress and crack resistance->>It can maintain strength and resist stress cracking when exposed to automobile and aircraft fluids, aliphatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, acids and weak aqueous solutions.
Flame retardancy, smoke generation and toxicity->>Most grades are inherently flame retardant without additives, with a limiting oxygen index (LOI) of 47%, complying with UL94 V0 specifications, and a thickness of only 0.41 mm. According to the NBS smoke evolution test, it produces extremely low smoke, and the toxicity of combustion products is not higher than that of wood.
